Sober Babes Vancouver events take place on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, on whose land we are grateful to live, work and create. We recognize that Indigenous peoples have been stewards of this land for thousands of years, and that colonialism, residential schools, and other forms of systemic oppression have had devastating impacts on Indigenous communities, including the cultural roots of substance use issues among Indigenous people.
